Hello have a 2007 international last8vin#7H542412 crank doesn't turn on it doesn't have fuel pressure codes I have S221 fmi 4 and code s254 fmi 6

Are you measuring the fuel pressure at the rail ? On the small schrader valve just behind the front cover above the pump ?

You should be getting at least 20 psi while cranking and there should not be air in the fuel there at all.

221-4 is a code for low IDM volts ( injector driver module )

254-6 is a self test fault for the IDM . When this fault comes up in memory , it tells us that the IDM failed its initial key on self check . This fault has no troubleshooting steps . In the manual , it simply says replace the IDM .

What is the IDM it's the ECM

No they re different but mounted together on the left side of the engine above the starter . The IDM controls and powers the injectors .

well you can purchase an IDM half which is just basically one half of the module . They sell this half because it is the more common failure inside the IDM . So , you pull idm out , split it open and replace the one half . This is much cheaper and does not require programming . I am guessing around 400$ .
