There are several things I have seen cause this.
The first is a bad rad cap. I would test or change it first.
Second is a failed air compressor head gasket.
Third is a failed engine head gasket.
And lastly is a cracked cylinder liner.

Unfortunately if the precooler is dry, the rad cap and air compressor have been replaced. I must suspect the head gasket or a cracked liner. It's possible it's a cracked head but that's very rare on these engines. I am sorry. I wish I had better news.
