On the back side of each spindle is a stop bolt to keep you from damaging steering box.
They will have a jam nut and stud sticking out you can adjust.
Front axle off of ground engine off,,,turn wheel against stop bolts,,,,turn in to get more turning radius each way,,,you want steer box at end of travel in each direction so when you hit stop bolt steering pump starts to dump pressure,,you can hear it when it dumps,, you don't want to be able to over steer past pressure pop off.
You adjust up against stops with engine off and check to make sure it dumps just before touching stop bolt.
Any questions or problems let me know I'm happy to assist.

It sounds like the drag link is off one tooth so I would double check timing of box to drag link.
I see you said it was correct but its very easy to align marks and when you install drag link it is off one tooth either way.
That and the stops are the only things that should keep it from turning close to the same both ways.
usually one way is 1/4 turn different its never exact but you are off 1/2 turn.
