how are you. I will try to let you know my situetion. I have a 14 liter detroit with egr. I did the overhoul because one line passed oil to the water,,afther that overhoul the truck running at 200 degree temperature and dont go down even with the fun on. I change the water pump,i clouse the egr,i check the radiador,,the oil pressure for my concerm do not work with high pressure of a ingine just with a overhoul donne and the oil work more hight than the water checked by computer. Do you think that there is something wrong at the time when the overhoul was donne. Yoel vega. Ph#7866562794

HI , Thank you for that
I suggest you back flush radiator ,
reason being that you had oil in cooling system
this cakes up in the cooling fins, and blocks coolant flow
actually your best bet is to remove radiator,
send to a radiator shop , and have them steam clean it

Yes but my termostato are of 185. And i have two more trucks with the same ingine. Even when the fun put on the temperature dont go down. And oil keep high more than the water,i think there is something heating the oil.
