Absence of pain is reassuring but let me tell you that when the hernia is no more reducible there is a chance of abdominal contents like intestines being trapped in it

I would recommend to go to ER to get it reduced by a doctor and get a scan of the abdomen to make sure that the intestines are not being trapped in the hernial outpouching

there is a little bit of pain not too bad right now I'm going to go to the ER in the morning I just want to make sure that I'm going to be safe for the night, it's in my belly button it's been there for a year and a half two years, I've felt it get hard plenty other times before but usually I can push on it and it pushes back in, Tonight however it will not go back in and seems to be stuck outside the stomach wall,

You can visit the ER in the morning and you are good for the night if there is no pain and you are moving your bowels

I am going to do that in the morning, I sleep on my back I will be doing nothing but laying down in my bed on my back and getting up in the morning and heading in

yeah I just took a number 2 about a half hour ago, I have been urinating frequently

You can take tylenol if there is a mild discomfort but please do not ignore severe pain and report to the ER if you develop over night
