Thank you very much for the question and I do see your sister had a sudden onset of headaches, I'm assuming she had a CT scan performed or MRI? Can you tell me some background information on your sister, her age, what are her symptoms of the headaches besides the head pain is she having dizziness, blurred vision?
This would be considered a major surgery to be quite honest specifically because of its location so you're absolutely gonna wanna have this done by a neurosurgeon that for lack of a better term is well experienced, so you wanna have somebody with 15 years plus under their belt. The success rates I honestly cannot tell you with this particular surgery it really does depend a great deal on the location as to where the surgery is done and the individual physicians experience. Any type of brain surgery like this does have complications I have to tell you and there's always always a risk of peripheral brain damage but I'll be honest with you you should really speak to a neurosurgeon directly about the success rate I don't feel I can answer that intelligently
