Please see, if the symptom such as dyspnea persists then you may try to undergo some complementary or alternative medicine treatments such as acupuncture or biofeedback or hypnotherapy, or meditation etc, because your symptom of difficulty with breathing really does not appear due to any heart or lung issues etc.

There is no such tine duration, or time limit, it appears there is lot of anxiety component too, so this is the effect of intoxicants and also some anxiety too, this should eventually resolve, there is really no reason why your symptoms will persist, you have had er doctors examining you, and your er investigations such as heart tests, chest x ray etc have all come fine too, so there are really no pathologies causing this, so this will all fully resolve in the very near future.

most "cardiac patients" go through a waxing and waning experience. It really depends on your actual diagnosis and the degree to which it has progressed. You mentioned left ventricular hypertrophy - this means that your heart, which is a muscle, has adapted to high blood pressure (unless you have a genetic condition) because it's literally pumping against a higher resistance. If this is your case, then your condition would be getting worse gradually, with some occasional exacerbations. I think for me to give you better feedback it would be helpful to know some additional background like age, medical/social history, etc..
