That is a great question and that is technically true. But let me tell you this most of the strokes and other vascular problems that we see with these electric massages come from using it on the neck particularly the lateral or the sides of the neck. That's where your main arteries are located specifically your carotid arteries. People that use these devices particularly older individuals that have a lot of cholesterol and plaque buildup in their neck arteries those are the ones that actually have the problems. I have never seen an issue using this anywhere around the shoulder blades or on the back only on the neck is the real problematic area

Sure, if you can try not to use it in the area directly between the shoulder blades and the spine, (the area of the RHOMBOID muscles) I always recommend against that due to the spinal nerves in the area but otherwise no other restriction that I can think of

Yes that is actually very safest if it's directly over the shoulder blade then that's perfectly fine that's where I use it as well I have a similar device. And overall from a safety perspective these are very very safe just don't use them over any arteries like in the neck that's where I always try to have people avoid. With you being so young it's not really a huge issue regardless but I would not take any chances
