Okay that is also going to work well. Levaquin is the BIG GUNS, it will definitely take care of the infection (watch for alittle diarrhea though - taking OTC probiotics helps reduce this) But that will take care of it. The inflammation is a bit trickier I have to say, and I do suspect that interstitial cystitis is occurring (inflammation of the bladder). The Quercitin is a good option for this.

I think at worst this is a mild infection probably causes so degree of bladder irritation, the urine results are not that impressive but your symptoms of burning on urination and testicular pain would imply at least a low level infection yes.

Gotcha, sorry! The red testicle is enough to warrant the Levaquin, I would prescribe at least some antibiotic in that case. The bladder inflammation can be due to a numbrr of things like mild infection, Motrin or NSAID use or other things and most times we never know what caused it.

I can say that the urine is not enough by itself for me to start the Levaquin but the redness in the testicle is the only thing that makes be lean towards using it. It it feels warm and tender than the Levaquin is still a good idea. I don't think natural remedies will help the testicle if in fact an infection is present there.

Yes if you can have your PCP write for 3 days of Bactrim DS twice daily that will be gentler and have the same results.
