ive been having stomach issues, and took some omeprazol for 14 days. as soon as i stopped taking it, my issues returned. Ive seen different recommendations on the frequency that its ok to take this in small dosages (20 mg) is it ok to continue? I'm in mexico, so i can get ti without a rpescription
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: NKA, adn this is the only thing ive been takign... typically, i dotn take medicines :)

Hi Dr. Frye - You helped me a few days ago with a question on myofascial pain and trigger point injections. I went to my physiatrist this afternoon and he gave me two TPIs (non-cortisone) in the trigger points on the left and right side of my neck. My burning pain is gone, I just have very light tingling sensations along my spine and cheeks but less so than before. I'm also a little sore and unable to turn my neck to the right fully - the TPI on my right side hurt a bit more than the left (he left the needle in longer here) and this has been more of the problem point originally.Do you feel these symptoms are a sign the TPIs are working? Do you think the soreness and inability to turn my neck due to soreness from the injection? The doctor said it may take 1-2 days to feel the effects of the injection and these will last about 2-3 months. I have been feeling better these past few days due to physical therapy and myofascial massage.Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks so much!

On Friday, I began sweating profusely about 2:30 p.m. Then I vomitted and had diarrhea until 5:30 p.m. At 8:00 p.m., the vomitting stopped but the diarrhea and cramping continued. I tried to stay out of the bathroom but I ended up in there about once an hour and the stool debris ended around 9:00. After that and until Suinday afternoon I had lots of bleeding that just came when I couldn't stop the cramping. Then last night, (Sunday), I only had blood on the toilet paper when I wiped. There was no more going into the toilet. I am feeling a little better today. I have had some soup and some jello, however, it kind of worries me that the bleeding lasted so long. The blood was bright red. Also, I am having these loud rumbling noises coming from a place right at my waist on my left side. It is sore there, but the rumbling is REALLY loud when it happens. Should I get it checked out?
JA: How long have you had the symptoms? What seems to make the symptoms worse or better?
Customer: It started on Friday afternoon about 2:30 p.m. and the bleeding finally stopped Sunday evening about 9:00 p.m. The rumbling noise comes from a place where it feels like something could get caught. It seems to help if I push on the site.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: I had an anal sphincteroplasty in 1995 because of extreme tearing during childbirth in 1990. I have had bowel problems over the years, but nothing like this. I have had hemmeroid bleeding but this is a lot more blood than that. It has stopped now, though.
