I went to e.r. immediately after I REALLY overdid in the heat and my troponins came back normal. I was released a few hours later. For several days after the e.r. visit I still was not feeling well so after six days I went and a had my troponin levels tested myself. My troponin levels appear to have gone up. I know sometimes it takes many hours for troponin levels to start to rise. My question is since the initial troponins were negative at the er, does this mean they rose in the six days since the e.r. visit? Does this rising of levels indicate any heart damage? (The troponin from the e.r. reads negative, the troponin from six days later reads 27.)
