Last test was done last month all came back negative and only had trush

Hi, I will try and assist you. How many days late did you have your period? After how many days do you normally have your periods? How long have you had irregular periods?

106 days late of period. I usually have my period every month of a week. If my period is irregular it usually comes on 2 weeks after the expected time of my period.

Having two periods a year that are longer or shorter than usual, is considered normal.

Otherwise any condition in which your normal hormonal balance is upset, can delay your period.

Some common conditions that can do it are stress/anxiety, weight changes, travel, and over exercise.

Normally the period comes back to normal on its own.

If you don't have your periods in 3 months (you are beyond this), then we can do some tests to check what exactly the hormonal problem is.

Blood tests and an ultrasound are done.

After common conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome and thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism) are excluded, some of the blood tests that are done are : FSH, LH, estradiol, 17 hydroxyprogesterone, prolactin and testosterone levels.

These are able to pinpoint the hormonal disturbance leading to not having periods.

The tests I have mentioned are all blood tests, except the ultrasound, and can be done following a GP/Women's health clinic visit.

they can, it's known as premature ovarian failure, but it's relatively uncommon. Only 2-10% of young women not having their periods could have it. The blood tests I mentioned will pick that too.
