This is likely to be a local nerve compression in your wrist or can be a ligamentous strain. It can't be related to your brain because the nerves that supply the wrist arise from the cervical spine but not from the brain. If there was something connected to your brain, you were supposed to have symptoms in the upper parts like the shoulder as well. You should try to take over the counter available tablet Aleve 500 mg twice daily for 5 to 7 days, massage the area with Bengay gel twice daily and apply heating pads on the area twice daily for 10 days. If symptoms persist, see your doctor as you may need physical therapy but I reassure you that there is nothing serious connection to the brain and you are going to be alright.
