Dear customer

Thank you for being online.

The symptoms you have described of having lower leg discomfort/pain,tingling and numbness and other symptoms suggests the possibility of nerve root compression like compression of sciatic nerve.

Sciatica is generally caused by the compression of lumbar nerves L4 or L5 or sacral nerves. Any compromise of the nerve space in the spinal column can lead to compression of the nerve endings. This occurs because of lumbar radiculopathy, spinal disc herniation, wear and tear, or injury or degeneration of the discs.

You need X-rays ,EMG (electromyography),nerve conduction studies.

Following treatment measures are recommended for you now:

  • Take tab. Ibuprofen 400 mg from the counter.
  • Apply heat in the form of a warm wash cloth applied to the area for 10 minutes or so 2 or 3 times a day increase blood flow to the area allowing to subside the inflammation
  • Apply analgesic gel such as diclofenac sodium twice a day
  • Have bed rest as much as possible.

All this will help you greatly.

Please do not worry. There is nothing serious or dangerous about this and it is treatable with medications accordingly.
