I have ear drops for an ear infection and when I put them in

This answer was rated:

I have ear drops for an ear infection and when I put them in I can taste them in the back of my throat after a few minutes. Is that normal?

My name is Dr. Josh. Welcome to JustAnswer.

I'm reviewing your question now and will post back with the reply momentarily. Thank you for your patience.

Well, it is normal to feel the taste of ear drops, in the throat after putting such drops in the ear.

It is because the eustachian tube connects the ear and throat.

You can continue to use ear drops, as advised by your doctor.

Once infection, gets cleared up, you would feel normal again.

Hope this helped
