If your wife is using progesterone suppositories then it's possible that you are reacting to that chemical. Otherwise it could just be a mouth fungal infection which I recommend not treating with an antifungal cream but instead of applying topical coconut oil. The women usually will need antifungal medications men can get away with topical creams with these Omega fatty acids such as coconut oil and that often will take care of it within a couple of days.

Appear to be anything worrisome. I usually recommend for my patients to apply coconut oil which you can get over the counter. If you prefer to use something more potent than you can also use topical antifungal cream such as Lotrimin or clotrimazole.

Yes, it can definitely be an allergic reaction to a soap. Though it all appears as dryness, it's in fact inflammation of the skin which makes it appear as dry. The little red bumps are from the fungal infection I mentioned earlier and will resolve on its own with the cream I suggested.

You can see from the photo that there is healing going on. The skin peels are larger as the skin below is healing - that's a good sign.

The burning is normal - nothing to worry about there as the skin underneath is still a bit sensitive.

I would recommend continuing with the coconut oil - I've had the best success with this in my practice and have found that other creams such as clotrimazole or lotrimin take much longer to make a difference.

That's a huge improvement from the pictures previously. Wouldn't you agree? I don't see any signs of eczema from this picture.

I would recommend that you continue to apply the lotion since it seems to be helping. It will take a little bit longer but it will definitely resolve and be back to normal 100%.
