Thanks for your question. Fortunately, your risk for pregnancy is very low given that you have taken the active pills on time. The inactive pills do not prevent pregnancy. Therefore, skipping them is not harmful. If you missed any of the active pills, you can take the morning-after pill (Plan B) to make sure you don't get pregnant. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or questions.

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

JulieLockesburg, AR

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.

I have a question about Norimin-1 birth control. I missed
So I have a question about Norimin-1 birth control. I missed one pill either at the end of the first week of the pack or in the second week of the pack. I did not double up, I continued taking the pill as normal and took an additional pill before the week of inactive pills. I then started the new pack on the scheduled Saturday (so inactive pills were taken for 6 out of the 7 days). On the second day of this new pack, I just had sex with my partner. What are the chances of pregnancy? I will struggle to get the emergency pill tomorrow if it is needed. I am usually a reliable pill taker. I take the pill within 2-3 hours of the same time each day. … read more
