Customer Question
I accidentally took 37.5...

I accidentally took 37.5 mg of clopidogrel..which was prescribed for my dog. I believe this medication is used to avoid blood clots. What should I do?

Doctor's Assistant: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?

I'm allergic to atonol.....I sometimes have broken out in a rash. I don't take that med anymore. I do take Amlopine and Lorsarton for blood pressure and tranzadone for sleep.

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

I was treated for Hep C...two years ago and have eliminated it.

What is your age?

When did it happen?

When had you taken Amlodipine and Losartan?

Can you monitor your blood pressure at home?

Any symptoms of dizziness, headache so far?

Thanks.
Waiting for your reply.
I will post back to the reply/answer momentarily. Thank you for your patience.

Sorry for late reply and inconvenience.
Thanks for the follow-up.
I understand your concern.
As per your description, an initial dose of Clopidogrel in an adult human is 75 mg orally once a day.

You have taken a half dose of it and one single dose of such medicine wouldn't cause you any serious harm.

However, you should monitor your blood pressure.

Watch for any unusual bleeding, bluish discoloration on skin.
