I am trying to decide whether to go into the er. I can't really afford it. I've been before, and have been diagnosed with PVCs. I am definitely having them now. I can't decide what to do. So scared.

Doctor's Assistant: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?

Yes. Taking metroprolol and hydrochlorothyazide.

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Can send printouts from alivecor mobile app for ecgs if I have an email or number

Thank you for your question, if your heart rate is more than 80-90 beats per minute and blood pressure is normal then increasing the dose of metoprolol will help reduce these PVC,s. In PVCs it is important to get blood test for electrolytes and kidney function plus echocardiogram. As anomaly in these tests may be cause of your PVCs. Thank you.

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.
