Hi, my name is***** and I will be assisting you today. I am an ear, nose and throat doctor.

Ask Your Own Medical Question

If you cannot get the nose bleed to stop with direct pressure you can spray Afrin into the side that is bleeding and hold pressure again for about 15-20 minutes without peaking. If you continue to bleed you should either go to the ER or see an ENT. If it is intermittent bleeding that comes and goes, you should speak to your cardiologist before adjusting the dosage. It is probably OK, but only he/she can give you approval to reduce the dosage. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Ask Your Own Medical Question

Please let me know if you have any other questions. I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me a 5-star rating. We can continue to speak even after you rate if you would like. Thanks!

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

JulieLockesburg, AR

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.
