Second opinion] On my heart echo this was an abnormal result noted. Aortic Valve Sinus Index 1 my value 12 normal value- 20 - 32 mm What is this and why would the value be low? Is it concerning?
This is a second opinion due to the last doctor not explaining in a way I could understand. I showed the full report as well as the cardiac cath I had a bit over a year ago. The cardiac cath just showed mild PH. I also have pulmonary fibrosis.
He said since the heart cath from a bit over a year ago was essentially normal, then I should not worry about this abnormal value in my current heart echo. Why not? A blockage or stenosis can't happen that quick? Could my PF play a role in this abnormal value? Where is this location? In the past (five years ago) my heart echo said mild stenosis in my LAD artery. Is this something that could have been missed in the cardiac cath? I am really confused.

The second page won't load, it says... EF is 76% measured by single dimension method. Left atrial posterior 37mm. IVC normal size but collapse with inspiration consistent with elevated RA pressure. Trace mitral valve, tricuspid and pulmonary regurgitation. With insufficient tricuspid regurgitation Doppler profile to calculate right ventricular systolic pressure.

This is nothing to worry about

It is just a small aortic valve sinus

it leads to the coronaries

yours is likely small from birth
