Yes, that is anemia only, you have low hemoglobin levels and the cause is most likely vitamin B-12 deficiency. All the other lab work is fine. It can easily be treated by taking vitamin B -12 supplements . Nothing else to worry about. Take foods high in vitamin B-12 and vitamin D like dairy, red meat, green leafy vegetables. eggs.

I sincerely ***** ***** I have helped you, and that I have earned my 5 star rating today! Hi,
Thank you for quick reply. Few months back my b12 and vit D were normal and I still had low hemoglobin, low mcv, low mch, low mchc.So in that situation, should I take any other tests ? (like hemoglobin electrophoresis,Peripheral smear)
and what could be the possible causes for it ?Also, a year back (before starting angizem and ecosprin) my ECG was abnormal though currently it is normal again. Can i get a CT angiogram with my current medication or is it unsafe? (my kidney tests are normal)Thank you.
Doctor: Dr Uzair, Doctor replied 1 month ago
Thanks for the reply,
Yes, you can get a CT angio with these labs if required.
Other causes of anemia includes iron deficiency, bone marrow issues or losing too much blood. You need to normalise your b-12 levels and then get the test again after 3 months if hemoglobin remains low then go for electrophoresis and iron levels.
Hope this helps.
Please do not forget to leave a 5 star rating.
Best wishes.
