What blood pressure medicine did you take the extra dose?

Do you have the ability to check your blood pressure and pulse? If so, what are they?

No cant afford that but my blood pressure has been running high lately
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
It has been like 140 over 85
Doctor: Dr. D. Love, Doctor replied 7 months ago

For most people in whom blood pressure medicine is controlling their blood pressure, the medicine will lower the blood pressure into the normal range, but it is still usually in the upper portion of the normal range. So, there usually is not an issue with accidentally taking an extra dose of the blood pressure, because there is some level of buffer before the blood pressure gets too low.

In your case, since your blood pressure has been running high, you would have more of a buffer than most people. So, there is no reason for you to be concerned about the extra dose of enalapril. It is appropriate to be drinking a good amount of fluid to be certain that you are well hydrated, but you do not need to do anything else.

If I can provide any additional information, please let me know.

Should i take my normal dose in morninh
Doctor: Dr. D. Love, Doctor replied 7 months ago

Yes. If your blood pressure were usually better controlled, it would be reasonable to skip tomorrow morning's dose, but since your blood pressure is on the high side, it would be OK to take tomorrow morning's dose.
