Dear customer

Thank you for being online.

The symptoms you have described of having some numbness in left little finger can have all kinds of different causes, as it is a symptom of many different diseases.

It usually arises from damage or disease of nerves. The most probable cause can be cubital tunnel syndrome. This is nerve compression (pinched nerve) of ulnar nerve.

Other most common causes are:nerve compression syndromes, pressure on the spinal nerves such as that due to a herniated disk, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, transient ischemic attack.

You need following tests:

-Electromyography(EMG)
-Nerve conduction studies,
-Certain blood tests,
-Electro physiological studies
-Nerve conduction velocity (NCV)

So my best advise for you is to please make an appointment with your doctor to have the tests & examination done so as to know the exact underlying cause & then treatment will be done accordingly.

Thank you.

Hope this helped

What is the ulnar nerve?
Doctor: Dr Josh, Doctor replied 7 months ago

Dear customer

Thank you for replying back.

The ulnar nerve is one of the three main nerves in your arm. It travels from your neck down into your hand, and can be constricted in several places along the way, such as beneath the collarbone or at the wrist.

Numbness and/or tingling in the fingers especially little finger is the common symptoms of cubital tunnel syndrome.

Thank you.

And please don't forget to leave positive rating above the chat box so I can get credit for helping you today,
