I have serious digestive issues including gastroparesis -

Customer Question
I have serious digestive...

I have serious digestive issues including gastroparesis - but now I'm having biliary issues either relating to my gall bladder or sphincter of oddi. My quality of life is terrible and I'm trying to find someone who knows more about issues with sphincter of oddi and maybe even hormones. I do have a hypertensive LES, hypertensive esophagus and colon. I have had every test possible done - I have had multiple HIDA scans which show ejection fractions of around 20%. The main issue with this part of my life is I get a stabbing pain every single night under my right breast area - it started about 11 months ago maybe once a week, and now has progressed to every single night. I started hormone replacement therapy for Testosterone about 2 years ago which greatly helped my digestive issues as far as the gastroparesis - no one even knows why! But now this is destroying my life - I'm scared to goto bed - I wake up in so much pain all night long. I am on sleeping meds - diagnosed with PTSD. I'm just a mess. I am trying to find a SOD specialist but none of them will see me without having my gall bladder removed first. I have an appointment at John Hopkins but they told me the same as well. Everyone says you can have a SOD issue unless your gall bladder is removed. But I feel I am 100% sure that this is my problem being that all my other sphincters are hypertensive and along with my digestive issues. I don't know if anyone here can help me - I do have test results for pretty much everything. I have read that testosterone itself can cause gall bladder to not receive the hormone CCK and also read that estrogen can cause issues as well. I am 35 years old (Male) and ive been sick my whole life with digestive issues - but this one is destroying me.

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.
