No
Doctor: Dr. Pravin, Physician replied 6 months ago

Her body temperature is definitely raised . She should get her blood test done to rule out infection or sepsis.

I would suggest she starts with antibiotic as early as possible . She should get her lab work done and start the medications. For now she can take Tylenol over the counter three times a day to reduce the body temperature.

Please do let me know if you have any further queries.

Administered 2/250 mg acetaminophen
Temp 99.6 °
1/2 hour later 89.6°

So that is a good sign that the fever is responding to the acetaminophen.

Keep monitoring the temperature every few hours.

and administer the acetaminophen every 12 hourly.

Please do let me know if you have any further queries.

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.
