Customer Question
I am a 80...

I am a 80 yr old male who had a heart attack in sept 2017 prior to the heart attack I was takig both lisinopril 20mg and metroprolol 50mg for appprox 5yrs without any reactions since my heart attack I have had two occassions within 4 weeks to break out in a rash on my upper body -today I saw a dermatologists and he suggested that the culprit was or is one or both of those meds--I have to wonder-my doctor is not available to make any changes do you have any suggestions?I am tired of scratching

Doctor's Assistant: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?

I am also taking blood thinner, cholesterol lowering med etc would you prefer the names

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Isince my heart attack I was treated for athletes feet with the oral med and I took two courses so I wondered if that could have altered my system?

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

JulieLockesburg, AR

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.
