Well you can increase the night time dose to help control your fasting blood glucose levels. It has to be administered at the same time daily . You need to monitor the blood glucose levels following each meal and add regular insulin / short acting for fluctuations with each meal.
This is called basal bolus regimen. You can discuss this with your doctor.
Morning high levels mean you can increase the night dose of levermir
What dose do you take ?
I would recommend adjusting your night dose and taking it at same time. You can add increments of 4 units till your blood levels are normal.
So you can take 34 units at night for few days and see how it goes.
