Well you have decreased blood counts across all cell lines almost with hepatosplenomegaly. It needs further workup with bone marrow examination, peripheral film , possibly immunophenotyping / cytogenetics and infection screen ( including infectious mononucleosis).

It could be one of these ;

Leukemia

Infectious mononucleosis

Hemophagocytic syndrome

Myelodysplastia.

Unfortunately its impossible to ascertain the diagnosis without these tests. I wish everything works out best for you.

Let me know if you have any related queries.

are you asking for help from another expert here?

how old are you?

are you male or female?

what is your height and weight? being overweight can cause you spleen and liver to be enlarged.

Ask Your Own Medical Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
I'm a 34 yo female that is overweight and I have PCOS and I'm guessing the PCOS is causing the enlarged liver but the decresing blood counts are bothersome.
Doctor: Dr. David, Board Certified Physician replied 7 months ago

yes, PCOS can cause being overweight and being overweight can cause the enlarged liver and spleen.

there are treatments for PCOS including birth control pills and metformin which can help. you should see an endocrinology hormone doctor for treatment of your PCOS

what is your WBC counts currently?

low WBC counts usually mean you don't have an infection.

eating healthier, loosing weight and doing some exercise can help improve your bone marrow health.

WBC is 3.97
Doctor: Dr. David, Board Certified Physician replied 7 months ago

WBC of 3.97 is really normal

it is not in a dangerous range and doesn't mean you will get disease.

you should not be having symptoms from this WBC count.

it is very normal in many people.

Here are the values.
Doctor: Dr. David, Board Certified Physician replied 7 months ago

thanks for that

those levels are all normal

none of those are in a dangerous range

it shows you don't have a current infection

over time, all of those levels will go up and down as your immune system needs them.

you don't have to worry
