Any tenderness there?

And does it hurt to take a deep breath?

Ok, thank yo.
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
No, the pain just comes on and stays. I try to change my breathing and it does not help.
Doctor: Dr Chip (M.D.), Doctor replied 7 months ago

When you have it any shortness of breath or nausea?

Ask Your Own Medical Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
No tenderness. Just pain. Sometimes the pain is so bad it raidiates to my ears and I end I throw up. I try to drink cold water, I get a couple of seconds of relief.
Doctor: Dr Chip (M.D.), Doctor replied 7 months ago

Well first off I can't rule out your heart here--any severe chest pain has to be considered heart until proved otherwise

But if drinking cold water helps at all that sounds more like a severe gastric acid reflux problem and for that Prilosec or Pepcid AC and PeptoBismol may help for now

But I'm obligated to tell you that you need to see your doctor about this as soon as possible

Please let me know if you need any more information

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.
