will any medication absorbed through my mouth ?? it is because I drink a glass of water spilling out the medication.. I am worried that trace of medication may be absorbed through my mouth ..
will I have serotonin syndrome or suffer from side effect of it ?
Doctor: Dr Stan, Doctor replied 8 months ago

Absolutely not, you are safe and will NOT get Serotonin Syndrome. You are on a relatively low dose, 20 mg daily. Your doctor can safely prescribe up to 60 mg daily if needed. Even if you absorbed a few milligrams, it would not hurt you and you should take your next dose as scheduled.

medication cannot absorbed through my mouth ??
Doctor: Dr Stan, Doctor replied 8 months ago

Not really, you would need it to break down in your mouth and this would take at least 5-10 minutes to even be possible to absorb any of the medicine.

Absolutely not under the circumstance you describe.
