32 and male. No nausea, heartburn or vomiting. Continuous pain. Struggled to sleep. I played football last night and came home to eat. No injuries. My stools are always irregular since I had a small bowel resection and they don't smell great either. No to the balance of the questions.
Doctor: Dr.Anil, Doctor replied 5 months ago

Sorry for late reply and inconvenience.

Thanks for all these additional information.

I understand your concern.

Well as you describe, possible causes of such lower left rib pain may include Muscloskeletal pain,Gastritis,Kidney stone,Diverticulosis.

You should take OTC Zantac and Motrin.

Also do gentle massage with muscle relaxant ointment and apply warm compresses with a heating pad on affected area.

You should eat a bland diet.

And hydrate yourself with plenty of fluids.

If your pain'll get worse over the time then visit emergency room.

Ultrasound whole abdomen should be done ASAP.

Let me know if you have any further query so we can discuss it thoroughly in every aspect.
