Customer Question
I cut down on...

I cut down on my Keppra 3 days ago from 1000 to 500. Yesterday i can barely remember my morning hours and afternoon and evening are lost. I became very depressed and ended up calling the on call who told me to take the other 500. I did and felt a little better. Today i am really light headed and dizzy. Scared to drive. I am really tired and am drinking coffee which is not working. What should I do

Doctor's Assistant: How long have you been feeling this way? Have you reached out to anyone about this yet?

2 days. Last night, but not today. My just can't think very well

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

I am low on my B12, but still in the normal range for most people. I do have an non hodgkins disorder ( bone Marrow) and I get infusions of IgG once a month

You need to go to the ER.

Cutting down on the keppra could have stimulated seizure activity.

However, you have enough symptoms that you need a doctor to do a neurological exam.

Do not drive AT all.

Have someone take you in.

This is not home management, or self help at this point.

In all likelihood, you need to restabilize your blood levels.

They can draw a baseline in the ER to see where you are at.

OK, let me know if you have more questions.

Also, please click a positive rating on the rating scale. [This must be done manually]. In fact, a 5 rating squares me with just answer and allows me to provide prompt and accurate service to you, but does not increase your cost. And, I will be here for any follow up needed.

Thank you to the Physician who answered my question today. The answer was far more informative than what I got from the Physicians I saw in person for my problem.

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.
