Do you have any groin pain or discomfort at rest or with activity?

Ask Your Own Medical Question

The general recommendations are that you should have it repairs. You should also avoid exercises that involve heavy lifting, pulling or pushing. These involve closing off your throat, which only serves to increase abdominal pressure and the size of the hernia. This increases the pressure on the tummy muscles and encourages the intestine to protrude through any weakness and thereby increase the hernia.

I hope this helps!

You have been more help than you know. I seriously don't know what my sisters situation would be today if you had not gone above and beyond just answering my questions.
