i was openin a jar that mst have been glued shit. I twisted so hard , i heard a "pop" and felt sharp pain user sternum very deep. it has gotten worse all nigt nd have not slept.
JA: How long have you had the pain? What seems to make the pain better or worse?
Customer: pain when turning head to left, getting up and down from bed, moving ars toward one mother. the pop scared me and makes me thing i tore a cartilage? I am 100 lbs and tinny frame.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: T1 diabtes 50 years. Have had tendon problems.

you could have dislocated a rib possibly or strained a muscle in your chest.

cartilage usually are pretty tough and usually will not tear, but muscles can strain or tear

a chest and rib xray or a chest CT scan can tell for sure if you may have dislocated a rib in your chest in the area

you can try heating pads and ice packs on the area to see if that helps

you can try taking some tylenol and advil and see if that helps as well
