My son, who is 8, has been exhibiting signs of hearing loss

Customer Question

My son, who is 8, has been exhibiting signs of hearing loss (and told me that he has trouble hearing sometimes). I took him to his pediatrician today. A hearing test was done when he was four, and was normal at 20 decibels in both ears. Today, he tested at 65 decibels bilaterally. The doctor said his ears are clear and didn't see any signs of damage. What could cause bilateral hearing loss this great? The doctor today didn't have an answer.
