Alright a few factors can contribute to irregular periods e.g recent increase in exercise duration / intensity, recent changes in weight ( loss or gain ) , recent lifestyle changes including diet pills .
So you need to find out which one of these factors is causing this.
If this doest help then other causes such as thyroid gand malfunctioning, hormonal imbalance or Polycystic ovarian syndrome should be ruled out.
Birth control pills can help make your periods regular.

This implantation can take few days ( 3-7) after unprotected sex in your ovulation days normally. You may take a home pregnancy test just to be exactly sure on this though.
Hope it answered your query.
