Hello and welcome to JA. Dr Saleem here. Will be answering you shortly
Sorry to know that. Well it definitely is a pinched nerve but more likely a result of herniated disc impinging on the nerve rather then the needle causing any damage.
Its a persistent pressure on the nerve caused by herniated disc.
The likely nerve compressed is sciatic nerve that supplies the back of leg all the way from hips to whole leg.
I would be interested to know whether you have been taking any medications for this?
Alright as its a nerve pain so you will require medicatiins that reduce nerve sensitivity e,g pregabalin, gabapentin or amitriptyline.
Simple pain relief is usually insufficient and these medicines have to be added for improvement.
For definitive cure neurosurgical consult may be sought.
I am sorry as i am unable to take calls at present, chatting is fine .
hope it answered your query.
