Customer Question

I have been taking 800 mg of Ibuprofen twice daily for my arthritis. I now have a tentative diagnosis of polymyalgia Rheumatica. The treatment protocol is 10 mg prenisone daily.
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: My concerns are is there a "washout period" of several days , after stopping NSAIDS , before strarting prednisone ? I'm concerned about Renal damage, not somuch about stomach ulcers ! Even if there is a low risk, what is the risk to my kidneys ? Some medical professionals evn suggest that they can be used together !
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: My kidney function has been Normal up until now.

your kidneys can handle it

let me know if you have questions.
