An homogenous enhancement is uniformly equal uptake of slightly higher amount of contrast compared to general population. This may occur occasionally due to fatty changes of liver or sudden weight loss. It does not point to anything serious like cancer.

Atelectasis of lung base may occur due to allergy which produces increased mucus plugs.
