I am having a problem with constipation (no since Saturday).

Customer Question

I am having a problem with constipation (no bm since Saturday). I have called my doctor, but not reply. I tried a laxative overnight, then an enema, then a glycernin suppository with not results. Is there something else I can do? Do I need to go to a walk in clinic? I am going out of town tomorrow. Thanks. ***** *****
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: I left a message for my doctor, but got no response. I take a lot of medicine: pantoprozoll, Lipitor, atorvastin, bupropion, fenofibrate, but have been taking all but pantoprozole for years.
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: I have no medical allergies. As I said I take bupropion, atorvastatin, raloxifene, fenofibrate, and pantoprosole daily, as well as a multiple vitamin.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Nothing I can think of.

There is no doubt that you need to go to the clinic.

You have already tried the most powerful solution, which is enema in conjunction with laxative.

You might have a fecal impaction.

If this persists, and if you have it, it can become an obstruction, which is dangerous.

Impaction needs a supervised, powerful prescription enema, or manual disimpaction, if you have.

Yes, clinic.
