I have wiped blood from my rectum all day, red on paper not in the water have no hemorrhoids,
JA: How long have you had the symptoms? What seems to make the symptoms worse or better?
Customer: just today, not sure what caused it.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: no , I did have heartburn issues, take over the counter relieve med. did a colposcopy but all clear about a year ago. had an mir because of intestinal pain, found nothing but I was full of stool. started a pro biotic, and the pain went away, been about a year and its been good until today .

I'm female and 53, movement been regular for a long time , maybe a little looser today and kind of glad! There is no pain.

The common causes of blood per rectum on wiping can be;

1) Hemorrhoids or piles

2) Anal fissure

3) Polyp rectum

4) Diverticulitis

5) Inflammatory bowel disease like crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis

6) Growth in rectum or colon.

Since your colonoscopy was normal just last year, polyp and the hemorrhoids are the most likely issue. Both of these can develop in a year or less.

Investigations needed to establish the cause are;

1) Proctoscopy

2) Colonoscopy

3) Barium enema
