Also a bit nausea

I see

some of your pains could be due to arthritis

or hormone changes with your period

weather changes can cause body aches and pains

when is your period due?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have my period at the moment
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Could it be kidney stones
Expert:  Dr. David replied 2 months ago.

could be kidney stones

could cause flank pain

drinking more water can help kidney stones

a simple urine test can detect microscopic blood in the urine which can cause kidney stones

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
There would be blood anyway as I have my period.. the pain is travelling into my thigh and is in my left side under my ribs and around my back

I am a different expert.

Apart from kidney stones and urinary tract infection, your symptoms can also be due to pinched nerves in back. You would need an ultrasound and an MRI of the back for the establishment of the diagnosis. Meanwhile, you can take Ibuprofen. Drinking plenty of fluids too would help.

Please feel free for your follow up questions.I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information. Thanks for using Just Answer.

A pinched nerve in back would respond to physical therapy. A urinary tract infection or infection in the kidney too may cause these symptoms.
