Dear,

Thanks for staying Online. I am posting my answer below-

Well, There are different medical conditions for such symptoms, Possible causes are-

-Imbalance of electrolyte levels in body
-Thyroid disorder- Hypothyroidism
-Peripheral artery disease
-Kidney disease
-Diabetes.

To make a diagnose, you need to undergo few tests which includes-
Complete blood count, Blood sugar test, Thyroid hormone test, Kidney function test.

Also sodium, potassium, and calcium levels in blood should be checked.

You should use a cold pack to relax tense muscles, and this will help in cramps. After this use a warm towel or heating pad later if you have pain or tenderness, you can take a hot bath.
Also massaging the cramped muscle will help in solving the problem.
You should gently stretch your leg and move your foot towards your knee, until you feel the calf muscles stretch. This will relax your leg muscles.

You can start with a multi-vitamin supplement on daily basis.

You can take Good food sources of magnesium. These are whole-grain breads and cereals, nuts and beans. You can get potassium from most fruits and vegetables, especially bananas, oranges and cantaloupes.

You can Mix 1 part wintergreen oil with 4 parts vegetable oil, and massage it into the muscle cramp.

Drinking a glass of warm milk before sleeping is an effective leg cramp cure.

You can mix one tablespoon of calcium lactate and one teaspoon each of honey and apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water. Drink this concoction at least once a day as a leg cramp treatment.

Also you should formulate an exercise routine and ensure that you build on it gradually. You should avoid alcohol, coffee, tobacco.

I would recommend that you visit your primary doctor for evaluation and get it managed.

Hope this helped
