I have a small red itchy bumps on my inner thighs and one

Customer Question

I have a small red itchy bumps on my inner thighs and one bump on my left foot. I suspect my cat may be to blame bc he sits on my lap many times. What disease could this be? I bought over the counter creams thinking it was a sort of fungus but no luck. They are somewhat itchy and bothersome to look at.
JA: How long have you been dealing with this? Does anything in particular seem to make the bumps better or worse?
Customer: Two weeks. It's frustrating bc they seem to go away after about a week but then new ones pop up. I can't say they have gotten worse as they haven't popped up anywhere else. I only have them in those two areas. Buy I can't say better either bc I will start to think they are going away and then it starts all over again.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: I have never had anything like this before. But I am a new pet owner (cat) which makes me think it could maybe be something a bacteria or idk related to the cat.

These bumps are very itchy. I have attached images below. My doctor gave me antibiotics which I have been on for ten days and I have seen no difference whatsoever. He also gave me Nix lotion to rinse with everyday and I have seen no difference. I am seeking a second opinion.

It is probably the cat

I agree

are you historically allergic?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I don't think it is an allergy. I have had the cat since December. If it were an allergy wouldn't it have presented itself right away?

Not necessariliy

sometimes allergies take a while to build up
