My husband urinates every 20-30 minutes. Tip of Penis is peeling and when he tries to pull forskin back to wash it is tight. He said there is pain in his penis. He is 61 yrs old
JA: How long have you been dealing with the issue? Is this your first time reaching out for information about it?
Customer: he said for around 2 months. it gets better for a few days and then comes back. Has an appt. with urologist but not till june 4th

Thanks for staying Online. I am posting my answer below-

Well, his symptoms can be related with Balanitis.

It can develop due to-

Infection/ Thrush/ bacterial infection.

One could have- pain when urinating, swelling around foreskin. One can have problem in foreskin to put it back.

This is usually not a serious issue and most cases, can be managed with-

Corticosteroid, Anti-fungal and Antibiotic cream.

Most cases of balanitis can be controlled with medicated creams and good hygiene.

Usually in two weeks, one can become free from all symptoms.

He should be seen by Urologist and get this managed.
