My 15 year old daughter just had a dizzy spell explained as like being on a boat. She closed her eyes and everything was spinning and then vomited. Is this vertigo?
JA: When was the last time you had your eyes checked? In general, how has your vision been lately?
Customer: Good. Checkup last week.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: She deals with a lot of anxiety. Also couldn't drive her bike straight the other day, kept swaying side to side, and she felt down the stairs the other day.

Not sure if she had a headache at that time but does have them frequently. She does take medications but none of them are new.

Dear,

Thanks for all these additional details.

I am sorry to hear about your problems.

Well, having dizziness and vomiting episode, can occur due to underlying medical issue.

Possible reasons are-

-Migraine

-Problems with Ear like-Inner ear inflammation/ Ear infection.

-Low blood sugar levels

-Anemia.

Most likely cause is Migraine.

She should be further clinically evaluated by doctor.

Further line of treatment would be advised accordingly.

Please take her to primary doctor and get it checked.

Hope this helped
