Hello, this is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.

Expert:  Dr. David replied 7 months ago.

how old are you?

was this your first PSA? what have your PSA been before?

if your PSA levels were much lower before, and is rising up quickly, it could be due to prostate cancer or prostate infection like prostatitis

one option is to go on a course of cipro antibiotics for 1 month and recheck the PSA in 1 month.

and see if it is higher or lower.
