Customer Question

My husband, 73 and healthy by most standards, had partial knee replacement on Dec. 14th. Quick recovery except for his blood pressure which varied after recovery. The surgeon ask that he stay an extra day. He is on no medication. He felt "off" today and had it checked - 165/92. Please share your professional advise. PS- non smoker that does not exercise enough and not obese, but overweight for his height.
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: Presently, Tylenol for pain which is recommended by the physical therapist/ surgeon. Not allergic to any meds. My concerns are the sporatic reading of his blood pressure.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Nope. He has been hospitalized three times: Being born, an allergic reaction in an airport and partial need replacement.
