I am a 28 year old female. Very active and eat very well

Customer Question

I am a 28 year old female. Very active and eat very well except a few cheat days. I am built and in great shape. I have had a few swollen glands in my neck that feel like fatty tumors. Got them check and Dr. said, since I was in greta shape/healthy and just noticed them... Wait a couple weeks. I've waited, and now I do a common cold 3 weeks later. I never get sick... Haven't since my early 20's.... Now I feel more more and on the right side of my neck, and I have blood in my nasal mucus. Who or what should I do from here?
JA: Are you keeping a personal medical record while dealing with this?
Customer: I am starting to now, only because it's all switching so fast.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: I have stiff neck/ sore back/ compressed disc problems from "sport" injuries.... But chronic.

sorry you have a common cold.

viral infections can happen in winter and can cause enlarged reactive lymph nodes in your neck

it sounds like you are worried about something worse or sinister in those lymph nodes like cancer,

but I bet those are just reactive lymph nodes in your neck.
